Amanda Bynes is a free woman, well… almost. As of Monday, Bynes was given three years probation, a mandatory alcohol class, and a fine for reckless endangerment. The case initially contained a DUI charge, but according to CNN reporting, the charge was dropped after the actress pleaded no-contest.
The trial followed up a 2012 arrest after Bynes allegedly struck a police officer with her car. Bynes has been in the news with a string of legal issues, including 2 hit-and-run cases, and driving with a suspended license.
According to reports and witness accounts, while awaiting trial she was involuntarily placed on psychiatric hold and eventually went to substance abuse treatment center.
