Chinese Delivery Man Busted for Underage Booze

Another delivery man for Nice Food Restaurant in Garfield, New Jersey is accused of delivering alcohol to a minor.

Another delivery man for Nice Food Restaurant in Garfield, New Jersey is accused of delivering alcohol to a minor. This time he was BUSTED.

This is not the first time, but every time it happens, it is colorful. In Saddle Brook New Jersey, a Chinese Restaurant delivery man has been busted for allegedly delivering alcohol to a minor without checking ID.

The delivery man for Nice Food Restaurant on Palisades Avenue in Garfield, reportedly handed over a 375ml bottle of “Bacardi Dragon Berry Rum” to “an underage girl on a Saddle Brook Street”.

Several people have noted that this is the same Chinese delivery restaurant that was in the news last summer, when a delivery man crashed his car while trying to get away from some teens allegedly trying to rob him. That case was also allegedly about delivering alcohol to minors on the street.

We found the story in CliffViewPilot.com, a local news reporter in Bergen County, NJ. The tone of the reporting and consumer comments on the Internet suggest that maybe the local communities are not-very-happy with the seemingly unregulated Chinese business wreaking havoc on the streets.

Police reported the offense to Garfield officials and the state Alcoholic Beverage Commission, the chief said. Yunchuan, meanwhile, was charged with offering an alcoholic beverage to an underage person and released on his own recognizance pending a Municipal Court hearing. – CliffView Pilot.
