Florida Woman Drunk-Drives Herself right into the Jail

If you're going to drive at over two times the legal levels of blood alcohol, you might as well drive your car right into the jail parking lot. That's what this Florida woman did.

If you’re going to drive at over two times the legal levels of blood alcohol (0.08% BAC in the State of Florida is a DUI), you might as well drive your car right into the jail parking lot. That’s what this Florida woman did.

Sometimes an addict will simply keep abusing despite negative consequences, right up until things come crashing down. This time, theĀ  headline read “Drunk woman drives car into parking lot of Florida jail…”. That’s right — she crashed right into the jail. It sure looks like Florida DUI cops have an easy job.

According to the reports in New York Daily News, the Gainesville, Florida jailers in called the cops and the driver, Brielle Watkins, “failed a series of sobriety exercises and tested nearly three times the legal limit”.

Breathalyzer tests were failed, open containers were noted, and Watkins was arrested and charged with DUI.

It is not known if Watkins was jailed in the same Alachua County Jail she crashed-landed in, but it certainly was a convenient location if a cell was available.
