CVS Blacklists 36 “high prescribers” – and More

CVS has blacklisted some Florida pain clinic docs, refusing to fill their prescriptions for often abused narcotics

CVS admits blacklisting more than 36 prescribing physicians, refusing to fill their prescriptions for often-abused narcotics (painkillers)

CVS disclosed that it had blacklisted 36 prescribing physicians it considered unjustified “high-prescribers” of opiate and opioid painkillers, according to news coverage today from Reuters.

According to the report, they suspended privileges for “a handful” more as well, and expect to black list even more going forward. We will update this when more information is available.
