Miley Cyrus confirmed her “Dancing with Molly” drug lyrics were indeed drug lyrics. She went even further to suggest her career plan has always been to boldly follow the path of  Madonna and Britney, according to a Daily Mail interview.

A comment she made in her interview suggests her Hanna Montana days were simply work required to enable her to do her Madonna/Britney bad-girl thing. With a reported net worth over $100 million, it worked.

Her latest “look” and pubic image seems to be trying a bit too hard, but definitely going that way. MTV is planning a documentary about her conversion from child star to hip-hop/hardcore bad girl. She’s definitely in the “give me attention” phase of celebrity career-building. The drug referencing may be just for show, or may be real.

The “molly” reference was for MDMA, a powerful drug associated with dance club drug ecstacy. While ecstacy is supposed to be MDMA, drug dealers so often dilute ecstacy, so  some users now look for “molly” or MDMA instead, thinking that would be a more trustworthy purchase. Every year we hear of deaths from taking ecstacy as well as MDMA and “molly”. It’s all confused, because, well, it’s illegal drug dealing, right?

Miley Cyrus may be dressing hard core and singing hard core,  but she’s also tweeting a bit too hard as well. Daily Mail followed up their interview with evidence of deleted tweets about seeking Xanax (“zany” which probably should have been “zanny”), a reference to a benzodiazepine commonly prescribed to manage mood disorders. Miley mentioned several times her hectic schedule and inability to sleep.

I always knew Miley Cyrus was a bad girl. Now she's a druggie, too
