Drinking, Driving and Sex Don’t Mix

Driving while intoxicated is  illegal and dangerous. How dangerous is drinking and driving while having sex?

For 25-year-old Luis Briones of Albuquerque, New Mexico (according to the ALB Journal), having sex while driving drunk led to a car crash and charges for aggravated DWI, reckless driving and evading police. The risky behavior also sent his female companion to the hospital.

After crashing his vehicle,  Albuquerque police officers found him hiding in a cactus, partially dressed. He was taken to jail. A half-empty bottle of vodka was found by police in his vehicle from his risqué romp session.

Interestingly, Briones attempted to flee the scene solo and was stopped by a witness who took his keys before he was able to take off. Talk about a rough end to a “date” – getting ditched unknowingly at the end of the evening.

As for his passenger, she was ejected naked from the vehicle in the crash and was found in the middle of the road. She was taken to a local hospital where they said she was suffering cuts to her face and head, but was otherwise unhurt. Guess she wasn’t wearing her seat belt, eh?
